Ingredients
Method
- Mix first 8 ingredients together, making sure to incorporate the eggs fully.
- Add the ground turkey and mix, but let's not overmix or it will become too firm and lose its texture.
- On a baking sheet, put in a 350F oven for 40-45 minutes. Check the temperature in the middle. You're looking for 160F degrees.
- Mix the ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard together and top the cooked meatloaf with it. I like to use a pastry brush for this part, but you could just spoon it on and spread it out, too.
- Pop back in the oven for another 10 minutes.
- This is key: Take out of the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
A family favorite I've made for over 15 years. It's very forgiving and flexible: use beef or ground turkey; use dried thyme or Italian seasoning. I usually make another batch of the glaze for dipping on the table!
